International law firm Ashurst has advised BofA Merrill Lynch in connection with the spin-off of QinQin Foodstuffs Group (Cayman) Company Limited from Hengan International Group Co. Ltd. and the listing of QinQin on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange by way of introduction. BofA Merrill Lynch acted as sole sponsor to the listing.
Hengan is the largest producer of sanitary napkins and baby diapers in China and a constituent company of the Hang Seng Index. QinQin, formerly a subsidiary of Hengan, is a leading manufacturer of jelly products and other snack food products in China.
The transaction was led by corporate partners Stuart Rubin and Lina Lee and counsel Heidi Lee. The wider deal team included Li Jiang, Evan Tsang, Mia Liu, Lynn Liu and Fion Lo.
