Dentons advises Agathos Management LLP on its acquisition of a majority stake in Cargostore Worldwide Trading Limited

Dentons has advised Agathos Management LLP (Agathos), a London-based firm that invests in UK-based small- and medium-sized businesses, on its acquisition of a majority shareholding in Cargostore Worldwide Trading Limited which in turn has purchased the business and assets of Cargostore International Limited (Cargostore), a leading global shipping container provider which is currently in administration. The Firm also advised in the acquisition of related debt and assets from each of Investec Asset Finance, Bank of London and the Middle East, and Lombard North Central and new arrangements with SeaCube Containers in the USA.

London-based Cargostore operates a fleet of ISO and DNV 2.7-1 container equipment throughout Europe, North America, South Africa, South East Asia and the Middle East. The company has a long-established reputation for supplying intermodal marine containers to a diverse customer base, from government agencies and defence.
