DLA Piper advises Sirio Pharma on the acquisition of Ayanda

DLA Piper has advised Sirio Pharma Co., Ltd, one of China's largest healthcare product manufacturers, on the acquisition of Ayanda GmbH & Co. KG, a vitamin and supplement manufacturer, from its holding company Ayanda AS for an undisclosed sum. This was the first investment for Sirio in Europe.

Sirio Pharma Co., Ltd. is a global integrated contract manufacturer for dietary supplements, drugs and cosmetics, providing a wide range of products with different forms. The company's head office is in Shantou, China. It has two factories, exports to over 50 countries and employs a total of 1,200 employees.

Sirio is a longstanding client of DLA Piper in China and the engagement of the German M&A Practice underlines the strong cross-border capacities of DLA Piper's China Desk.

Privately held company Ayanda, founded in 1992, is a worldwide vitamin and supplement manufacturer providing private label products for the nutraceutical and dietary supplement industry. It is based in Germany.
