Dentons, the world’s largest law firm, announces that Deborah Renner has rejoined the Firm. She will be a partner in its Commercial Litigation practice. Renner joins from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) where she handled broker-dealer regulatory matters.
Renner’s commercial litigation practice focuses on class action defense, financial services litigation and broker-dealer regulatory matters. A nationally-recognized class action lawyer, Renner has defended numerous companies in nationwide, multidistrict and state court class actions and has frequently represented amici before the US Supreme Court.
“I am delighted to welcome Deborah back to the Firm,” said partner and Litigation practice leader Sandy Hauser. “She has an impressive class action background and a wealth of knowledge in the field. Her experience, including her most recent stint at FINRA, will be a terrific value-add for our clients and support the great work we are already delivering for them.”
Previously, Renner was in private practice, including at Sonnenschein, Nath & Rosenthal, the legacy firm of Dentons US. She also built and led a class action practice at a prior firm for nearly a decade with a focus on securities, data privacy, false advertising and consumer fraud matters.
