Hill Dickinson has advised Edward Billington and Sons on its acquisition of TSC Foods from its private equity owner, Key Capital Partners.
The Billington Group is one of the North West’s leading family owned businesses, operating in the food and agricultural sectors. Best known for its Glorious! range of soups and sauces, Scunthorpe-based TSC Foods produces and supplies soups and sauces to a host of major food retailers nationally.
Jonathan Brown, Richard McKay and Michael Murphy from Hill Dickinson’s Liverpool-based corporate team advised The Billington Group on the acquisition. Beverley Bentley and Richard Capper from Hill Dickinson’s banking team also provided advice in relation to a facility provided by Barclays to The Billington Group.
The latest deal caps another great year for Hill Dickinson in Liverpool, which saw the office cited by independent rankings publication Chambers UK 2014 as having the only Band 1 ranked corporate team operating in the city.
