King & Wood Mallesons SJ Berwin advised Eurazeo PME on the acquisition of the French company Vignal Systems. At the end of the closing, Eurazeo PME will own 71% of the capital, alongside management.
Eurazeo PME is the subsidiary of Eurazeo dedicated to majority investments in profitable French SMEs with an enterprise value of less than €200 million.
Vignal Systems is a European leader in signalling lights for industrial and commercial vehicles. It has more than 40% market share in rear signalling lights for trucks in Europe and employs 230 people. In 2013 the company generated an annual turnover of almost €50 million, an increase of more than 18% compared to 2008.
As a result of this transaction, Eurazeo PME will be able to support Vignal’s growth and its aim to more than double in size within three to five years.
