DLA Piper has advised Rabo Capital, Van Lanschot Participaties B.V., Oftavinci B.V., the management team and Stichting Personeelsparticipatie DORC Holding on the sale of the entire issued share capital in DORC to Montagu Private Equity.

The sale of DORC was a high-profile transaction in the Dutch M&A-market considering its size and large interest of potential bidders until the last phase of the auction.

DORC is a leading manufacturing and sales company of ophthalmic equipment, instruments and liquids and Montagu is a leading European private equity firm with a focus on health care. The transaction was a controlled auction process, with interest of over 40 potential bidders.

The DLA Piper team was led by Casper Hamersma and Patrick Gremmels and further consisted of Diederik Schuurmans, Martijn van Wanroij, Lex Oosterling and Thessa van der Windt.
