LG advises Beaumont Cornish Ltd on Global Resources Investment Trust plc's Premium Listing on the Official List

11 Mar 2014

Lawrence Graham LLP has advised Beaumont Cornish Limited, sponsor to Global Resources Investment Trust plc ("GRIT"), a new investment trust established to seek to exploit investment opportunities in the junior mining and natural resource sectors, on the admission of its ordinary shares to listing on the premium listing segment of the Official List of the UK Listing Authority and to trading on the London Stock Exchange's main market for listed securities.  Admission took place on Friday 7 March 2014, following the publication of GRIT's prospectus on Friday 28 February 2014.

GRIT has issued just over £39.5 million ordinary shares at £1.00 per share in exchange for shares or other securities in principally listed natural resource companies with an aggregate value of approximately £39.5 million.  GRIT has also raised £5 million through the issue of convertible loan notes (with warrants) (inclusive of up to £1.5 million such loan notes issued in respect of certain commissions).

The Lawrence Graham team was led by corporate partner, Jeffrey Elway with assistance from associates Amy Pilmer and Alice Prickett.  GRIT was advised by DMH Stallard.
