Watson, Farley & Williams advised OBTON A/S, a Danish renewable energy company, on the acquisition of the entire share capital of three companies from an Italian renewable energy group. Between them, the aforementioned three companies own eight photovoltaic plants located in the Region of Basilicata, southern Italy, which have a total capacity of 5 MW.
The WFW team, led by partner and head of WFW Italy Eugenio Tranchino, supported by associates Francesco Dialti, Ginevra Biadico and Antida Cutuli, advised on corporate law, administrative and financial aspects of the transaction.
The financing bank, Banca Popolare di Milano, was assisted by Italian law firm Studio Legale Pedersoli e Associati partner Alessandro Fosco Fagotto and associate Edoardo Galeotti. The seller was assisted by partner Andrea Milani of Studio Legale Fabris e Associati.
