Squire Sanders is pleased to announce that Denis Charles Barat has joined its Paris office as a Partner in the Global Corporate Practice. M. Barat joins from Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer.
An Avocat à la Cour and a highly regarded French corporate law specialist, M. Barat has extensive experience in M&A and also in securities law and public and private equity. A particular focus is French outbound activity where M. Barat has worked closely with clients in sectors such as consumer, food and beverages, luxury goods, manufacturing and distribution.
M. Barat is a graduate of leading business school Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales (HEC) and holds a post-graduate degree (DEA de droit privé) from the University of Paris-I.
