PARTNER MOVES - K&L Gates Further Strengthens Paris Corporate/M&A Practice with Addition of Third New Partner in As Many Months

28 May 2014

Global law firm K&L Gates LLP has added Caroline Ledoux as a corporate/M&A partner in the Paris office. Previously, Ledoux served as counsel in the Paris office of Allen & Overy LLP.

Ledoux focuses her practice on domestic and cross-border transactions including mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, and joint ventures. She regularly advises financial institutions on M&A transactions, as well as clients in the energy sector on general corporate issues. She also has substantial experience in litigation matters such as shareholders’ and directors’ liability disputes.

Louis Degos, administrative partner of K&L Gates’ Paris office, stated: “We are delighted to welcome Caroline, whose arrival is part of the Paris office’s continued strategy to expand its corporate/M&A practice. Specifically, Caroline adds new perspectives in the fields of energy and financial institutions. In a three-month period, the size of our corporate/M&A practice has doubled with the additions of renowned partners Jean-Patrice Labautière, Nicola Di Giovanni, and Caroline.”

Ledoux is the seventh new partner this year to join the firm’s global corporate/M&A practice, which in 2013 helped K&L Gates earn a “Law Firm of the Year” ranking from Mergers & Acquisitions magazine in its Mid-Market M&A Awards.
