Allen & Overy LLP has supported SAP AG, the world's leading corporate software provider and the largest software company in Europe, on its change of form to a European Company (Societas Europaea, SE).

The change of form took effect on 7 July this year upon entry in the commercial register, after the general meeting approved the step with a majority of 99.57% on 21 May 2014.

The inhouse team responsible for preparing the change of form comprised Michael Junge (Group General Counsel), Dr. Michael Plötner (Head of Corporate and Capital Market Law) and Dr. Daniela Leyh (Global Legal).

The Allen & Overy team was led by Dr. Hans-Christoph Ihrig and comprised of-counsel Dr. Eckart Sünner (both Mannheim), counsels Dr. Jens Wagner (Munich) and Dr. Andre Wandt (Mannheim), as well as associates Dr. Tilmann Becker (Mannheim), Daniel Epe (Munich), Christopher Kranz and Dr. Katharina Stüber (both Mannheim) (all corporate).
