Simpson Thacher Represents Blackstone Real Estate Partners VII in Connection with the Acquisition of a 95% Interest in Park Avenue Tower

The Firm represented Blackstone Real Estate Partners VII in connection with the acquisition of a 95% interest in the Park Avenue Tower office building from certain affiliates of Shorenstein Partners in a transaction valued at $750,000,000.  Park Avenue Tower is a 37-story office building located in Manhattan at 65 East 55th Street, New York, New York.  The transaction also included the refinancing of Park Avenue Tower with Deutsche Bank and Morgan Stanley in connection with the closing, which occurred on July 31, 2014.
