Slaughter and May advised Legal & General on the sale of eight properties from its Hyperion portfolio. The Hyperion portfolio was acquired earlier this year for £550 million and comprised 55 properties largely let to RBS or members of its group. Legal & General has sold the Coutts headquarters at 440 Strand for £175 million, 97 New Bond Street for £18.8 million, 28 Cavendish Square for £5.35 million, sites in Wakefield, Salford and Rutherglen for £10.4 million, 2-4 Lower O’Connell Street, Dublin for EUR11.4 million and Lee House, Enfield for £6.1 million.
