Linklaters has advised Vodafone on the purchase of 140 Phones4U stores from administrators, PricewaterhouseCoopers, saving almost 900 jobs. The Linklaters team advising Vodafone on the deal was led by Restructuring & Insolvency partner Richard Hodgson and included managing associate James Warboys and associate Damien Gomez and Real Estate partner Mark Burgess-Smith. 

Linklaters has acted on a number of high profile administrations of high street retailers recently, including on the administrations of HMV, GAME Group, Habitat, Blockbusters, La Senza and Woolworths.
