King & Wood Mallesons has harnessed its global capability, bringing together teams in France and Australia to advise Exclusive Networks on its acquisition of WhiteGold Solutions, providing them with access to the Asia-Pacific market. The deal raised an additional €25 million from ICG Senior Debt Partner to finance Exclusive Networks’ development programme.

The French entity, Exclusive Networks, controlled by Omnes Capital, is the leading independent value-added distributor (VAD) specialising in the marketing of security, storage and networking solutions for businesses.

Australia’s WhiteGold Solutions is a leading independent value added distributor of IT security, networking, converged infrastructure and datacentre solutions for the Australia / New Zealand enterprise channel.

The multi-jurisdictional KWM team included, corporate partner Nicola Charlston and senior associate Adrienne Trumbull in Australia. In Paris the team was, corporate partner Jerome Jouhanneaud, associate Benjamin Thorez and finance partner Olivier Vermeulen.

KWM has advised Exclusive Networks on a number of deals to date, including on the acquisition of Secureway (November 2013) and Terach (February 2014).
