Taylor Wessing has advised Mailcloud, the online platform that allows users to organise their entire history of emails, files and content by person, on its recent fundraising.

The funding, from Octopus Investments, includes investment from Bessemer Venture partners, Kima Ventures, Seedcamp and a number of angel investors, including Skyscanner co-founder Barry Smith, Irish tech entrepreneur Ray Nolan and Daniel Malhery, founder of Deezer.

Taylor Wessing is rare among law firms in having a practice providing corporate law services specifically to technology companies and to investors in technology. The firm's client base ranges from start-ups to fully-listed companies, from individual investors to significant investment funds.
