Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer has advised CVC Capital Partners on its acquisition of the Paroc Group, a leading producer of stone wool insulation in the Nordic and Baltic regions, from a consortium of banks and other institutional investors, for an enterprise value of approximately €700 million.

Headquartered in Helsinki, the Paroc Group has approximately 2,100 employees and a pan-European sales presence, with manufacturing facilities in Finland, Poland, Lithuania, Sweden and Russia. The transaction is the latest in a number of deals in the Nordic region on which Freshfields has advised CVC.
