Göteborg Energi and DONG Energy have agreed to divest FordonsGas Sverige AB to French Air Liquide. The sale is part of Göteborg Energi and DONG Energy’s respective decisions to focus on their core businesses. The transaction is expected to be completed in December 2014.
FordonsGas owns and operates more than 40 gas filling stations located primarily in the western part of Sweden. The company has a leading position on the market for vehicle fuels in gas and liquefied form (CNG/CBG and LNG/LBG) in Sweden. Air Liquide is the world leader in gases, technologies and services for industry and health. The group has operations in more than 80 countries and the company’s share is listed on Paris Euronext.
Göteborg Energi is Western Sweden’s leading energy company. DONG Energy is an energy company with a leading market position in Denmark and other key areas in Northern Europe.
