PARTNER MOVES - Noerr’s M&A Practice continues to grow with Maurice Séché

19 Nov 2014

The law firm Noerr strengthens the Corporate Department with an additional partner. On 17 November 2014, Dr. Maurice Séché joined the Düsseldorf office as an Associated Partner. Séché previously worked with Hengeler Mueller in Düsseldorf.

“With Maurice Séché, Noerr continues its consistent expansion of the strategic Corporate/M&A and regulated industries areas in which we have achieved above average growth in recent years”, emphasised Dr. Alexander Hirsch, Co-Head of the Corporate/M&A Practice Group. Séché has wide-ranging expertise in international M&A transactions with special focus on energy.

“I look forward to working with Mr. Séché, who, with his expertise, will both strengthen the Noerr Energy Group in Düsseldorf and intensify the cooperation throughout the law firm among our energy law and financing experts”, said Christof Federwisch, head of the Noerr Energy Group. Responding to the growing demand, Noerr deliberately expands advice in the Düsseldorf office to energy companies, a strategic growth area for the law firm.

The arrival of Maurice Séché signifies the third prominent newcomer to Noerr‘s Düsseldorf office within a short period. As recently as September and October 2014, the corporate lawyer Dr. Falk Osterloh and the tax expert Christian Becker-Pennrich joined Noerr also as Associated Partners.
Noerr was recently honoured in the “Juve Awards 2014” as “Law firm of the Year” and as “Law firm of the Year for M&A”.
