NIAM purchases Danish property for DKK 90 million

26 Nov 2014

The Swedish private equity fund NIAM has purchased Lygten 37 located in the North-West district of Copenhagen from the administration company Ejendomsvisioner through the real estate company Lintrup & Norgart at an amount corresponding to DKK 90 million.

The property, which is 6,500 sqm, is leased to KEA, Copenhagen School of Design and Technology, and centrally located at the corner of Lygten and Rentemestervej next to the Nørrebro Centre. With the future metro station being located in the same area, the investment will become part of a powerful centre in a pulsating part of Copenhagen, which will develop in a positive way in the years to come.

NIAM has already made massive investments in Danish properties and believes that the acquisition of Lygten 37 will create good synergy.

NIAM AB is one of the leading real estate firms in Northern Europe with real estate assets under management of approximately EUR 2.5 billion. NIAM has strong relationships with leading global institutional investors, European banks, tenants, municipalities and the local community.

Ejendomsvisioner is an administration company which focuses on consultancy concerning exclusively investment properties.

Bruun & Hjejle acted as legal counsel to NIAM.
