Hogan Lovells Lee & Lee Advises Navis Capital Partners on the Acquisition of MFS Technology

Hogan Lovells Lee & Lee advised Navis Capital Partners on its acquisition of MFS Technology (S) Pte Ltd, an established one-stop provider of flexible printed circuits (FPC), printed circuit boards (PCB) and rigid-flex printed circuit solutions serving more than 50 blue-chip customers globally.

Navis Capital Partners is a leading private equity investment firm which conducts buyouts, recapitalisations and financial restructuring investments in Asia. Navis currently manages approx. US$5 billion in equity and has a long and proven track record in Asian private equity, with over 60 control transactions since its establishment in 1998. It provides capital and management expertise to its portfolio companies in a range of business sectors.

MFS Technology Pte Ltd has production facilities in Malaysia and China with an additional presence in Germany. It engages in the design, manufacture and distribution of FPCs and PCBs and provides turnkey component assembly services and value-added design and application engineering services for FPCs.

The complex cross-border transaction involved Navis Capital Partners together with its consortium partners which include Novo Tellus Capital Partners, a Singapore-based technology focused private equity fund, and a management buy-in team.

Hogan Lovells Lee & Lee also recently advised Navis Capital Partners on the sale of Mentor Media Limited, a Singapore headquartered global chain services company with operations in eight countries, to Elanders AB, a company listed on the NASDAQ OMX in Sweden.
