White & Case Advises Financial Institutions on Waste Italia's High Yield Bond Issue and New Credit Facility

White & Case LLP has advised the financial institutions on Waste Italia S.p.A.'s Senior Secured High Yield Notes issue and super senior revolving credit facility (RCF).

The Firm advised Jefferies International Limited, as sole bookrunning manager, on the Rule 144A/Regulation S issue of €200 million, 10.5 percent Senior Secured Notes due 2019 and BNP Paribas, as original lender, sole arranger and agent, on the €15 million super senior RCF.

London-based White & Case partner Rob Mathews, the Firm’s EMEA Regional Section Head, Capital Markets, led the legal team which advised on the transaction. He said: "We combined a cross-border deal team and established high yield capabilities to support our clients in the successful completion of this transaction."

Waste Italia, the Italian waste management company, will use the proceeds of the bond offering and credit facility to fund acquisitions, repay existing debt facilities and for general corporate purposes.
