DLA Piper and Ropes & Gray have jointly advised a consortium of funds comprising Alchemy Special Opportunities, Angelo, Gordon & Co and Avenue Capital, in relation to its purchase of Avant Homes Group.

The DLA Piper team's role encompassed a full due diligence review of the target group, advice on the auction process and subsequent completion of the acquisition.

The DLA Piper team was led by Restructuring group partner Jonathan Richards with support from associate Antonio Del Riccio.

The Ropes & Gray team was led by Peter Baldwin with support from Freddie New and Alex Lewis.
