King & Wood Mallesons advised Pechel Industries on its new investment of €8.5 million into Recaero Group, a major player in the aircraft industry specialising in spare parts manufacturing, sub-assembly and modification kits at short notice, alongside the founder family.

Created in 1992 by Mr Thierry Pobeau, Recaero Group has experienced a rapid growth thanks to its unique expertise in a niche market and has developed strategic relationships with famous aircraft manufacturers such as Airbus France, Aérolia, Dassault, Snecma, Turbomeca, Sofrance, Bombardier and Latécoère.

Pechel Industries will support the international development plan and existing customers’ relationship with Recaero. The operation enables the reorganization of the capital, with the exit of the historic shareholders, such as Airbus, and the financial investors. Moreover, the founder Mr. Thierry Pobeau appointed his son, Mr. Nicolas Pobeau, as the Chairman of the company.
