The Carlyle Group has sold the Sankt Petri Passage to Industriens Pension.
The Sankt Petri Passage, situated in the centre of Copenhagen, previously hosted the headquarters of the Danish telecom provider TDC. The extensive building complex of 45,000 square metres includes 14 office buildings and about 100 parking spaces.
During recent years, The Carlyle Group has carried out, prior to the sale, a thorough transformation and renovation of the buildings, and today the major part of the premises is occupied by TDC, Bruun & Hjejle, the Sankt Petri School and Copenhagen’s Adult Education Centre “KVUC” on the basis of long-term, non-terminable leases. The tenants also include Google, Red Bull and Karnov etc.
Bruun & Hjejle has acted as counsel to The Carlyle Group.
