The MSC Group acquired the 42.85% stake held by UniCredit in Bluvacanze S.p.A., thus increasing its stake in Bluvacanze’s share capital from 52.41% to 95.26%.

The transaction was part of a wider program for the property and financial strengthening of the Bluvacanze Group, at the end of which UniCredit refinanced to the MSC Group the formerly existing lines of credit granted to the Bluvacanze Group by UniCredit itself.

The Bluvacanze group is a leader both in the market of travel agencies and of business travel, with a turnover exceeding 650 million euro in 2014, grown by 2% from 2013. The Bluvacanze Group has approximately 1,500 employees and is the owner of the trademarks Bluvacanze, Vivere & Viaggiare and Going; The Bluvacanze Group network consists of 430 travel agencies with more than 700,000 customers per year; in addition, the Group is the owner of the Going resorts, attracting more than 400,000 visitors per year, and, through Cisalpinatours, manages business travels with more than 800 large customers and 1.6 million tickets issued every year.
