Taylor Wessing advises Access Technology Group on acquisition of Changeworknow

02 Apr 2015

Taylor Wessing has acted for Access Technology Group, a leading author of fully integrated business management software, on its acquisition of Changeworknow, the leading provider of cloud-based HR applicant tracking and talent engagement solutions.

Access will be offering Changeworknow as both a standalone solution and as an integrated platform within its popular HR solution, SelectHR. As part of an integrated solution, Changeworknow will be offered as a premium recruitment module for customers who are looking for a best-of-breed applicant tracking system.

This is Access Technology Group's first acquisition since its secondary buyout by TA Associates in January, and sees Access continue its aggressive strategy of growth through ongoing in-house development and strategic acquisitions.

This was Taylor Wessing's fourth instruction from Access, having acted on its acquisitions of Stratogen Internet Limited (November 2014), Actionfile (May 2014) and PeoplePlanner (May 2013). The cross-firm team was led by Private Equity partner Robert Fenner, with support from Lowri Westray, Katherine Sweetnam and Catherine Williams (Private Equity), as well as partners Rosalind Connor (Pensions) and Graham Hann (IT, Telecoms & Competition).
