Baker & McKenzie has hired Javier Menor as a new partner in Corporate, Mergers and Acquisitions, and Competition Law in its Barcelona office. Until joining the firm, Javier was the managing partner of Deloitte Abogados in Catalonia, Aragón, and the Balearic Islands; he was also a member of the Global Executive Committee of Deloitte Legal and internationally in charge of the corporate mergers and acquisitions area. Javier is listed in the main legal directories, such as Chambers, Legal 500, and Best Lawyers.

Javier Menor received his degree in law from the Complutense University, Madrid, in 1994, and his Master of Laws (LLM) degree from the Catholic University of Louvain (Belgium) in 1998. He studied in the upper management program (PADE) in 2013 at IESE. Since 2000, he has been a professor of competition law in the DIN and MUA master programs at ESADE.
