Norton Rose Fulbright has advised Oskar Nolte GmbH (“Oskar Nolte”) on the sale of its shares to the Milan-based private equity fund Ambienta SGR S.p.A. (“Ambienta”). For the last eight months Norton Rose Fulbright has provided legal and tax structuring support during the entire transaction – from the preparation of the bidding procedure, the selection of bidders to the negotiation of the agreements as well as with regard to financing issues. Furthermore, Norton Rose Fulbright has assisted the parties in the structuring process.
Oskar Nolte is a pioneer in developing solvent-free coatings for the furniture industry. Ambienta is the biggest European private equity company specialising in the environmental technology sector. The investment is intended to accelerate the growth of Oskar Nolte. The company is expected to grow further in future – organically as well as via add-on-acquisitions.
