Clifford Chance advised Perceva, the independent French investment firm, on its binding offer coupled with exclusive arrangements with Masonite International Corporation (NYSE: DOOR), a leading global designer and manufacturer of interior and exterior doors, for the acquisition of its French subsidiary, Premdor S.A.S.
The transaction is subject to customary conditions including anti-trust approvals as well as consultations with employee representatives.
Headquartered in Bordeaux, Premdor S.A.S. and its subsidiaries manufacture and distribute doors, pre-hungs and frames to the commercial and residential markets. Premdor is a leader in the French market with 2014 turnover of approximately €100 million and more than 680 employees.
