The property team at law firm Hill Dickinson has advised on the sale of four historic buildings in Manchester’s Albert Square.
Led by partner and Manchester property team head, Michael Blakey, Hill Dickinson advised The Wrather Group on the sale of a property portfolio worth £17m to London based investors, LJ Group.
The four buildings sold were Victoria Buildings and Northern Assurance on Princess Street and Lawrence Building and St Andrews Chambers in Mount Street. The portfolio, which totals over 70,000 sq ft, has been owned and maintained by The Wrather Group for the past 40 years.
LJ Group will turn the buildings into offices with ground floor shops and restaurants.
