Taylor Wessing has advised Wahanda, Europe’s largest hair and beauty marketplace, on the acquisition of ZenSoon, a similar beauty platform in France.
The deal is the fifth European acquisition by Wahanda in the last six months and reaffirms the company’s strategic position as the leading online hair and beauty booking platform in Europe. The acquisition of ZenSoon also comes less than two weeks after Wahanda bought Dutch competitor Treatwell for $38 million.
Taylor Wessing has advised on each of the five acquisitions as well as the €65 million investment in Wahanda by Recruit, which now owns 80% of the company after buying out other investors at the beginning of last month.

Support was also provided by Taylor Wessing Paris on the French law aspects of the deal, led by Corporate partner Nicolas de Witt, supported by corporate associate Mathias Briatta.
