Stephenson Harwood advises Singapore Technologies Telemedia on joint venture with Brockton Capital

Stephenson Harwood LLP has advised Singapore Technologies Telemedia Pte Ltd (ST Telemedia), a Singapore-based global investor, on a strategic investment in Virtus Data Centres, the UK's fastest growing data centre provider.

Under the partnership ST Telemedia, through its wholly owned subsidiary, STT GDC Pte. Ltd, will make a significant investment into Virtus, committing to a 49% stake via a joint venture with Virtus's existing owner Brockton Capital. The new investment from ST Telemedia will be used to fund Virtus's continued growth and footprint expansion in the UK.

ST Telemedia focuses on innovative communications, media and technology businesses. ST Telemedia has a track record of successfully building, growing and transforming businesses across the Asia-Pacific region, the Americas and Europe.

Stephenson Harwood advised on all aspects of the complex acquisition and the Stephenson Harwood (Singapore) Alliance provided ST Telemedia with Singaporean legal advice.
