GSK Stockmann + Kollegen has advised ADLER Real Estate AG, Frankfurt/M. comprehensively on the acquisition of all shares of MountainPeak Trading Limited. MountainPeak itself holds a 24.79% stake in conwert Immobilien Invest SE, Vienna – one of the leading real estate holding companies in the German speaking area and with residential and commercial properties in Austria and Germany.
With this strategic investment, ADLER pursues its growth strategy to become a leading residential real estate company.
With the acquisition of all shares of Mountain Peak Trading Limited, a holding company owned by the entrepreneur Teddy Sagi, ADLER has now become the largest individual shareholder of conwert. According to conwert they are owners of real estate portfolios in Germany, Austria and a small part (approx. three percent) outside those two countries with a size of approximately 30,200 units and a value of about EUR 2,8 billion.
Within three years ADLER Real Estate AG has grown to become one of the leading residential real estate companies with approximately 50,000 residential units. A larger residential portfolio of ADLER is located primarily in Lower Saxony, North Rhine-Westphalia and Saxony. ADLER-shares are listed on the Deutsche Aktienindex (DAX) for SmallCaps SDAX since 22 June 2015.
