DLA Piper advised Binatone Global, a leading provider of Internet of Things (IoT)-connected consumer electronics and lifestyle products, in its acquisition of exclusive licensing rights to design, develop and market a range of consumer mobile accessory products on a global basis from Motorola Mobility, including Bluetooth headsets, wireless speakers and car connectivity products.
Binatone products are sold under world-leading brands such as Motorola, AEG, Binatone and iDECT. Binatone has worked with Motorola Mobility since 2008, and is the official licensee for Motorola baby, home and pet monitors. Binatone will work with Motorola consumer mobile accessory products, including mono and stereo Bluetooth headsets, wireless speakers and car connectivity products.
