Norton Rose Fulbright advises Island Offshore group on construction and financing of a top-hole drill ship

Norton Rose Fulbright has advised Island Offshore Shipholding LP on the construction and supported financing of a top-hole drill ship.

The construction of the vessel will be performed by Kawasaki Heavy Industries Ltd and the supported financing parties are Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC) and Nippon Export and Investment Insurance (NEXI).

The Singapore and London offices of Norton Rose Fulbright acted as English law advisors to Island Offshore Shipholding LP. Team in Singapore was led by partner Gervais Green supported by partners Robert Driver and Stephen Woods, senior associate Gan Sue Ann, associates Laura Hamilton, Llian Williams, Bernice Chia and trainee Elfleda Wong.
