DLA Piper has advised RPS Consultants Pty Ltd on its purchase of 100% of the issued share capital in Everything Infrastructure Group Pty Ltd (EIG) for AU$32,350,000.
RPS Consultants Pty Ltd is a subsidiary of London Stock Exchange-listed RPS Group Plc, a global multidisciplinary consultancy business with over 5,000 personnel across the UK, Ireland, the Netherlands, Norway, Russia, the United States, Canada, Brazil and Africa, as well as in the Middle East and Asia Pacific regions. Its existing service offering includes advising on the exploration and production of oil, gas and other natural resources, the development and management of the built and natural environment, and the planning and development of energy and urban infrastructure.
EIG is a professional services firm that provides services for the development, delivery, maintenance and operation of infrastructure assets. Its service offering also relates to procurement processes for major infrastructure and operational services. The acquisition of EIG strengthens RPS's presence and service offering in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.
The acquisition was led by DLA Piper partner Mark Burger and senior associate Dylan Burke, with assistance from solicitors Daniel Kornberg and Jack Quirk.
