Watson Farley & Williams advises Jones Lang LaSalle in connection with the acquisition of ACREST Group

08 Jan 2016

Watson Farley & Williams (“WFW”) has advised Jones Lang LaSalle (“JLL”) on their acquisition of the ACREST group.

The WFW team advising JLL was led by Frankfurt partner Dr Torsten Rosenboom. He was assisted by corporate lawyers Dr Jan Winzen, Sebastian Ens and Nicolas Persch in Frankfurt, and Hi-Zin Pak and Marcel Nurk and Cordula Schröter in Munich. In Hamburg, Dr Christine Bader advised on regulatory matters, Axel Löhde and Ursula Staab on IT matters and Verena Scheibe and Dr Henrik Lay on the tax aspects of the transaction (alongside Daniel Hiemer in Munich). Real estate advice was provided by Michael-Alexander Rojnic and Alexander Schroer, with Dr Nikolaus Krienke and Feyzan Ünsal advising on employment law matters.

Torsten commented: “We are delighted that JLL chose to turn to WFW for advice on this transaction, a clear demonstration of both the increasing recognition of our M&A and private equity expertise building on last year’s successes and our ability to leverage our expertise across our German office network”.

WFW worked closely with JLL’s in-house legal team led by Nicolas Taylor (Head of Legal & Compliance – EMEA), Dr Ingo Seidner (General Counsel, Germany) and Antonios Kotsis (Associate Director, Germany).
