Mayer Brown announced today that it represented Tesch Group on the acquisition of mediafinanz AG from three investment companies held by the founding shareholders. The purchase price was not disclosed.
Located in Osnabrück, Germany, mediafinanz AG is a leading German services provider for risk and receivables management for the e-commerce market.
Tesch Group is active in the area of collection services and is held by Avedon Capital Partners and its management. Avedon Capital Partners with offices in Düsseldorf and Amsterdam is a private equity funds manager focusing on mid-sized companies in Germany and the Benelux countries with strong growth potential. Mayer Brown advised Avedon on various transactions in the past, recently on the sale of GRW Bearing GmbH GmbH (see news release), the acquisition of Transcom CMS Forderungsmanagement GmbH (see news release) and already on the acquisition of Tesch in 2012 (see news release).
