Osborne Clarke has advised LendInvest, the UK’s first and largest online marketplace for property lending and investing, on its growth equity investment from Atomico of £17m. With the completion of the minority investment from global growth equity investor Atomico, LendInvest will accelerate its expansion and continue its high growth trajectory, focusing on extending into the broader UK mortgage market.

Associate Director, Matthew Bodfield, led the Osborne Clarke team on this deal, having also advised on the previous round of investment in to Lendinvest from Beijing Kunlun Lexiang Network Technology Co. Limited in the summer of last year. This marks the latest in a series of deals completed by Osborne Clarke to the crowdfunding sector across all service lines, from corporate, banking and regulatory.
