Simpson Thacher is representing Trainline, a portfolio company of KKR, in its acquisition of Captain Train. Captain Train is a French digital rail ticket retailer and the acquisition will allow Trainline to broaden its offering in continental Europe. The transaction is expected to close in April 2016.
