Clifford Chance advises the lenders on a solar PV plant portfolio refinancing

Sonnedix group, a solar operator present in Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America, has successfully refinanced a portfolio of four photovoltaic parks located in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, Languedoc-Roussillon-Midi-Pyrénées and Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur with a total capacity of 23.6 MWp for an amount of EUR 93.7 million.

The financing is provided by MUFG’s banking arm, Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, and La Banque Postale Crédits Entreprises. MUFG was the mandated lead arranger and also acted as facility agent, insurance bank and as the modelling bank, documentation and technical bank, with La Banque Postale as the account bank.

The Lenders were advised by Clifford Chance with Benjamin de Blegiers, partner and Chloé Desreumaux, associate, on project and financing aspects, Corinne Duvnjak, associate, on regulatory matters, Fabien Jacquemard, associate, on derivatives aspects and Jitka Susankova, counsel, on tax matters. The Clifford Chance Amsterdam office was also involved on the transaction.
