International law firm Watson Farley & Williams (“WFW“) advised Greentech Energy Systems A/S, a major Danish renewable energy group listed on the Copenhagen Nasdaq OMX, on the sale of all its Polish wind farms, Parnowo, Ustka and Smolecin, with a total capacity of 108 MW, to EDF EN POLSKA SP. Z.O.O., a subsidiary of EDF Energies Nouvelles.
Following the sale, EDF EN POLSKA own 100% of the Project Companies and take over all further development activities and related expenses as well as the construction of the projects.
The WFW team, led by Partner and Head of Italy Eugenio Tranchino, assisted by Counsels Luca Sfrecola and Carlo Cosmelli, and Mid Associate Cristina Betti, advised on all the contractual, corporate and real estate aspects of the transaction, working closely with Greentech’s legal in-house team, composed by lawyers Ginevra Orsini and Mariagrazia Callisto.
Allen & Overy’s team, led by Partner Jaroslaw Iwanicki, Counsel Kamil Jankielewicz and Senior Associate Lukasz Lech in the Warsaw office, advised EDF Energies Nouvelles.
