LETT advises the management of ICEpower and Industri Udvikling in connection with the acquisition of ICEpower.

On 6 April 2016, Bang & Olufsen concluded an agreement to sell off 100% of its shares in ICEpower in a management buyout supported by Industri Udvikling.

ICEpower is a fast-growing and scientifically based innovation house dealing with market-leading products within class-D sound systems, and it supplies the industry’s best audio performance, efficiency and power density within amplifier technology.

In the most recent financial year, ICEpower had a turnover above DKK 100m, and ICEpower will continue to supply class-D sound systems to manufacturers of audio products to consumers and professionals, including Bang & Olufsen.

The management of ICEpower and Industri Udvikling aim at enhancing ICEpower and consolidating the Company’s leading position on the sound-system market.
The sale forms part of Bang & Olufsen’s strategy to reduce complexity and focus on its consumer-oriented business.
