DLA Piper advises KGAL on the acquisition of office property in Düsseldorf

DLA Piper has advised the KGAL Group on the acquisition of the high-rise office building Düsseldorf Office Center Kaistrasse (DOCK), in the Media Harbour of Düsseldorf, the capital city of the Federal State. The seller of the DOCK is a German family office who were represented throughout the transaction by the Berlin property company 3H real estate.

The high-rise office building is the eighth investment for the Immobilien-Spezial alternative investment fund. The 16-storey high-rise office building offers 10,300 m² of office space and is in a central location in Düsseldorf. The property is being fully let and has a diversified tenant structure.

KGAL GmbH & Co. KG, a German asset and investment manager based in Grünwald near Munich, has been initiating and managing long-term real asset investments since 1968, with sustainable and stable earnings. As of 31 December 2015, KGAL Group manages investments of 21.7 billion Euros.
