Slaughter and May advised Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. (ICE), a leading operator of global exchanges and clearing houses and provider of data and listings services, in relation to its possible public offer for London Stock Exchange Group plc (LSEG). ICE announced on 1 March 2016 that it was considering making an offer for LSEG. Subsequently, on 4 May 2016, ICE withdrew on terms announced.
