Clifford Chance has advised PATRIZIA Immobilien AG on its acquisition of the "Cloud 9" portfolio from Allianz Lebensversicherungs-AG and Allianz Versicherungs-AG. In addition to the Sprinkenhof building in Hamburg, the portfolio comprises another eight high-end office and commercial properties located in Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Hanover, Munich and Stuttgart.
PATRIZIA is one of Europe's leading real-estate investment services providers and acts for a number of major institutional and private investors across Europe, both nationally and internationally. The company currently manages real estate assets worth around EUR 17 billion, mostly acting as co-investor and portfolio manager on behalf of insurance companies, pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, savings banks and cooperative banks.
