International legal practice Osborne Clarke has advised Ambienta on its proposed acquisition of Vaclensa Limited through its portfolio company IP Cleaning SpA (IPC).

Ambienta is the largest European private equity fund specialising in environmental investments, while its portfolio company IPC is the number three player in the European professional cleaning market. Its proposed acquisition of Vaclensa, one of the UK's largest independent distributors of professional cleaning machines, will enable IPC to consolidate its prominent position in Europe.

The Osborne Clarke team that advised on the purchase was led by Partner Russell Van Praagh, who was assisted by Associates John Jarvis and Seamus McKimm. Hill Dickinson LLP advised Vaclensa Limited on all legal matters, while corporate finance advice was provided by DTE Corporate Finance.
