SSAB AB (publ) has carried out a new issue of approximately SEK 5 billion before transaction costs with pre-emptive rights for the shareholders.

SSAB is a Nordic and US-based steel company. SSAB offers value added products and services developed in close cooperation with its customers. SSAB has employees in over 50 countries and production facilities in Sweden, Finland and the US. SSAB is listed on Nasdaq Stockholm and has a secondary listing on Nasdaq Helsinki.

SSAB has been advised by Mannheimer Swartling on the rights issue. The firm’s team primarily included Thomas Wallinder, Nils Nostell, Mirka Ylinen Gorne, Aleksander Ivarsson, Oscar Nilsson and Dag Eresund. Maria Tufvesson Shuck from the firm’s New York office advised on U.S. securities law.
